Notice and takedown

Northquill respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Service to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512.

Designated agent

Copyright infringement notices and counter-notifications should be sent to our designated agent:

Kotlerman Ventures LLC
21266 Lafyette Rd, Sedro Woolley, WA 98284
Email: hello@northquill.ai

What a valid takedown notice must include

To be effective, a notice must be in writing and include substantially the following:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
  • Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it within the Service (for example, a job ID or share link);
  • Your contact information — name, address, telephone number, and email;
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

Counter-notification

If you believe material you uploaded was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to our designated agent above containing: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the material and its location before removal; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error; and your name, address, and telephone number, along with a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the US, the State of Washington, USA) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.

Repeat infringers

We may, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, disable or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
